Stacey Cole- District Instructional Media Coordinator/KHS Librarian I have been an educator since 2003 and a librarian since 2007. I began working at KISD in 2012. I received my B.A. in Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin and my MLS in Library Science from the University of North Texas. I am originally from the East Texas area and I now reside in Liberty City with my son, dog and husband. Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to be a librarian. I have always loved to read many different types of books and I love technology. My goal is to make the library an inviting and comfortable place for all students. In addition to serving the students of KHS, I help all KISD library staff members with their duties and I also help teachers to integrate technology into their classrooms.  Lovetta Williams- Library Assistant I have been working in education since 1997 and in the Kilgore High School library since moving here in 2008. I am committed to helping students achieve their academic goals and holding them to higher standards as individuals. Being the sponsor of the AASA (African American Student Alliance) I am in a position to give students more personal attention, advise them morally and help them ready themselves for the transition into high school and from there to college and beyond. I assure them, as well as demonstrate, how reading is a vital resource in their lives and oh so beneficial to writing and preparedness for college. My goal is to continue making the library the place students want to be while assisting educators and staff with our resources.
