Liar & Spy by Rebecca Stead is an interesting read. It tells the story of Georges, a young man that is going through some big changes in his life.  Due to a change in his family's finances, he has to move from the only home he has ever known into a smaller apartment.  Because of his unusual name he is teased and bullied at school.  At his new apartment, he meets an interesting young man named Safer.  Safer soon involves him in an elaborate spying game on another man that lives in their apartment building, Mr. X.  If you like adventure, mystery, and spy novels then this is the book for you.  It kept my attention the whole time and I enjoyed it.  However, it was not my favorite book from this year's list.  For more information on this novel, check out the web resources below:
