Flora & Ulysses is written by one of my favorite authors, Kate DiCamillo. She has written many books for kids such as The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, Because of Winn Dixie, The Tale of Despereaux, and Louise, The Adventures of a Chicken. I am never disappointed after reading any of her books. She is a marvelous author. I think that Flora & Ulysses will appeal to many students because it is a combination of a novel and a graphic novel. This means you get a great story plus a lot of awesome pictures.
